Digital Silva pledges to tithe a minimum of 10% of our annual profits to religious organizations and other not-for-profits, including veteran service organizations. We also are pledging an additional 5% of our yearly profits towards environmental causes and conservation.
Meet the team
Joe House - CEO/Founder
Joe is a non-traditional undergraduate student at Purdue University, majoring in Forestry with a concentration in Forest Management, set to graduate in fall 2025. He is an Eagle Scout from Troop 974 in West Chester, Ohio, and he continues his involvement in scouting as a Merit Badge Counselor for the Sagamore Council in Indiana. His diverse background includes experience as a Firefighter/EMT, outdoor retail, land management, and service in the Indiana Army National Guard, including a deployment to Kosovo with the guard in support of KFOR. At Purdue, Joe worked in the Forest Advanced Computing and Artificial Intelligence Lab, focusing on forest carbon, matrix models, and biodiversity database analysis. He founded Digital Silva in August 2024, to provide digital natural resources solutions to foresters and land managers. Joe's interests and hobbies span many outdoor activities, cooking, volunteering in his community, and spending time with his family. He lives in West Lafayette, Indiana with his wife and dog, balancing his studies, research, and personal life while maintaining a positive attitude towards challenges.
